The terms on which this site and the funding application are provided. Short, because there is not much to say, and none of it is hidden.
Using this site
By using this site or submitting an application you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the application.
The application is not an offer
Submitting an application, and our accepting it for review, is not an offer of funding and does not create any obligation on Mountain Finance or any funding partner to provide funding. Any offer is made separately, in writing, with its figures set out, and only takes effect when you sign that funding agreement. Until then nothing is committed on either side.
Business use only
The funding described on this site is for commercial purposes only. It is not a consumer loan and may not be used for personal, family or household purposes. By applying you confirm that the business is a real, operating business and that any funding will be used for it.
What you tell us must be true
You confirm that you are an owner of the business, that you are at least 18, that you are authorised to apply on its behalf, and that everything you enter and upload is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Statements must be genuine and unaltered. An application found to contain false information will be declined, and any funding arranged on it may be called in.
Electronic records and signatures
You agree that the application, the signature you give on it and any records connected with it may be created, delivered and kept electronically, and that an electronic signature has the same effect as one in ink. You can ask for a paper copy of anything you have signed.
Being contacted
By applying you agree that Mountain Finance and the funding partner or partners considering your application may contact you about it by phone, text message and email, at the numbers and addresses you give, including by automated means. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw this consent at any time by telling the person handling your file, or by replying STOP to a text message, and it will be honoured. Consent is not a condition of receiving funding.
No guarantee
Whether funding is offered, and on what terms, depends on the review of your application and on the funding partners' own criteria. Nothing on this site guarantees an offer, an amount, a cost or a timescale. Descriptions on this site are general and are not advice; the funding agreement is the only document that sets the terms.
This site
The content of this site belongs to Mountain Finance and may not be copied or reused without permission. We try to keep the site accurate and available but do not promise that it will be either at any given moment. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Mountain Finance is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this site or the application, or from any decision made in reliance on information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms may change. The version published here, with its effective date, is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the change.
